About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Education to join our Practice and Policy Research Department. In this permanent, full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering professional and clinical elements across our undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs.

Key responsibilities include leading the Clinically Enhanced Pharmacist Independent Prescribing (CEPIP) course, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring the quality and accreditation of our Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) and postgraduate professional programs. You will also drive innovation in course design and teaching methodologies, contributing to the strategic advancement of our educational offerings.

About You

We are looking for a UK-registered pharmacist with significant experience in pharmacy education. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in curriculum development, course design, and teaching innovation. You will be expected to lead designated courses, develop teaching materials, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs through regular curriculum review.

In addition to your educational responsibilities, you will manage the quality assurance processes for our pharmacy practice programs, collaborating with external colleagues in hospital pharmacy settings to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
