Summary

Join our expanding Pharmacy Team at the Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW, as a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist with On-Call shifts. With a salary range based on skills and experience, the Main Hospital boasts 234 beds, 10 theatres, an endoscopy unit, radiology unit, dialysis, and a 13-bed intensive care unit.

Job Description

As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, you’ll provide a patient-centered clinical pharmacy service across various medical and surgical specialties. This full-time, permanent role includes 37.5 hours per week, plus on-call shifts, with a Band 7 equivalent salary. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to designated wards
  • Work across clinical disciplines including renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics, and reconstructive surgery
  • Lead and develop aspects of the clinical pharmacy service to enhance patient experience
  • Contribute to optimal medicines usage by patients and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in on-call pharmacist roster for urgent medicines supply

Skills & Experience

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist
  • Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification
  • Acute healthcare environment experience
  • Patient-focused, proactive, and dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
