Aston Pharmacy School is at the forefront of pharmaceutical education and research, dedicated to producing skilled professionals in the field of pharmacy. We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team for a one-year fixed term full-time position.

Position Overview:

The Teaching Assistant role has been established to provide crucial academic support to the staff involved in updating the core healthcare programme within Aston Pharmacy School, specifically the MPharm programme. The update is necessary to meet the new educational standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and enhancement of teaching and scholarship activities within Aston Pharmacy School.

Collaborate with the team responsible for updating the MPharm programme to ensure compliance with new GPhC educational standards.

Assist in curriculum design and delivery of high-quality teaching to meet GPhC requirements.

Requirements:

Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.

Desirable: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician).
