Main Duties of the Job

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medicines, ensuring patient transactions are accurate and efficient.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, aiming to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to support the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient systems for medicine optimization, repeat prescribing, and reducing medicine waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and laws.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is essential.
  • Proficiency in medication administration procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification is essential.
