Summary
The Pharmacy Care Group Manager, reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, holds delegated responsibilities encompassing:
Accountable for the effective and efficient service delivery.
Ensure processes align with quality standards and indicators.
Project management for ongoing and future projects.
Oversight of operational functions within the department.
Achievement of performance and quality targets.
Management of an Administrative and Clerical team.
Collaboration with Operations on Business Continuity Plans and service development.
Development of business cases for projects or service improvement.
Budget management and analysis, delegated from the Chief Pharmacist.
Review and authorization of requisitions for non-drug expenditure.
Assurance of Key Performance Indicators with trend analysis and improvement recommendations.
Reporting on Model Hospital Key Performance Indicators to Quality Improvement.
Membership in the Divisional Board.
Comprehensive management of administrative and clerical functions within the department.
Support in the business aspects of Pharmacy procurement, business, and strategic planning.
