Summary: A reputable Derbyshire pharmacy group, conveniently located near primary care services, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The pharmacy’s strategic location allows for the delivery of a comprehensive range of NHS and private services, including seasonal vaccinations, emergency medication, lifestyle support, advisory services, and more, alongside prescription dispensing.

As a Pharmacist, you will become an integral part of a skilled and experienced team committed to delivering enhanced community pharmacy care. With an established Pharmacy Manager overseeing store operations and a new, streamlined PMR system in place, your role will emphasize clinical services and meaningful patient interaction. In addition to managing prescriptions, you will actively engage in supporting patients with flu vaccinations, emergency contraception, minor ailments, weight management, and addressing other common health concerns.

Operating from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays, the pharmacy is conveniently situated near parking and public transport links. The team is dedicated to long-term growth, with plans to expand and develop services. This commitment provides continuous opportunities for learning and progression, including additional training and support to obtain your IP qualification if desired.

Person Specification:

  • (Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree or equivalent
  • (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist

Benefits/Enhancements Include:

  • No management responsibilities
  • Implementation of a new dispensary system
  • Integral part of an established pharmacy network
  • GPhC fees paid
  • Support for IP qualification
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training
