Job Summary: Be the person who makes all the difference! We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at HMP Hollesley Bay. In this role, you will primarily focus on providing a dispensary and wing-based clinical pharmacy service, collaborating with the Lead Pharmacist to offer medicines management support across various wings within the facility. Your responsibility will encompass the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a dispensary and wing-based clinical pharmacy service.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Pharmacist to offer medicines management support to different wings within HMP Hollesley Bay.
  • Ensure the provision of an integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
  • Work closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team to meet contractual obligations.
  • Provide daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters.
  • Ensure the delivery of a safe and modern medicines management service to prisoners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with relevant professional qualifications.
  • Experience in providing pharmaceutical services in a secure environment is desirable.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
