Summary: As a valued member of the pharmacy team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the organisation, management, and supply of pharmacy services to patients and healthcare staff at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The pharmacy team takes the lead in all aspects of medicines management, ensuring the safe and secure handling of medicines and promoting their clinical and cost-effective use. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team in the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.
  • Assist in the organisation and management of pharmacy operations.
  • Ensure the safe and secure handling of medicines in accordance with established protocols.
  • Contribute to the clinical and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certifications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy regulations and protocols.
