The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), situated in Preston, is seeking a passionate individual to join its esteemed team as a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice. About the Role:

As the field of pharmacy evolves, this role is instrumental in preparing pharmacists to meet the challenges of providing comprehensive health services and person-centered care. The successful candidate will contribute to academic development, course management, and teaching within our MPharm and Advanced Certificate in Independent Prescribing courses. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in advancing the School’s impact in the Northwest region.

About You:

We welcome applications from individuals with a passion for education and pharmacy practice. While experience in an educational setting is advantageous, we encourage those currently in clinical practice to apply. This part-time position (0.6 FTE – 3 days/week) offers a one-year fixed-term contract, providing an opportunity to transition into higher education while maintaining clinical practice.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a good MPharm honours degree or equivalent qualification
  • Possess primary and/or secondary healthcare experience
  • Maintain registration with Professional, Statutory, and Regulatory Bodies (PSRB)
