Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The Role

Are you passionate about engaging in valuable research, shaping policies, and influencing the safe and effective practice of over 90,000 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Great Britain? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Research and Insight Officer at the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of research and evaluation programs to enhance regulatory frameworks and healthcare services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver GPhC’s public consultations.
  • Understand qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, possessing strong interpersonal, statistical, and analytical skills.
  • Undertake analysis of large datasets, producing insightful reports and infographics to guide policy development.
  • Support colleagues in research and evaluation activities.
  • Contribute to the commissioning of reliable and robust research and evaluations, including tender specifications and proposals.
  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of pre-employment due diligence.
  • Proven experience in research and evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
