Summary
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Lead Hospital Pharmacist/Deputy Pharmacy Manager to join an exceptional private hospital in Kent, affiliated with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This facility, the largest independent hospital in Kent, boasts state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic, and operating environments, supported by innovative technology for a broad spectrum of specialist services, ensuring prompt, safe, and quality care.
Qualifications:
To be considered, you must be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in medication safety, presenting monthly seminars to clinical staff.
Oversee medication management and medicines optimization.
Maintain accurate documentation during clinical pharmacy activities.
Assist in developing department standard operating procedures.
Communicate professionally with service users.
Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork.
Achieve, maintain, and develop pharmacy technical expertise.
Monitor pharmacy charging for patients to maximize revenue.
Deputize for the Pharmacy Manager when necessary.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
4 years post-registration clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Ability to inspire and lead others in healthcare delivery.
Demonstrable credibility with key stakeholders.
Ability to build working partnerships with consultants within the organization’s values.
The successful Pharmacist will enjoy a competitive salary of £48,000 – £50,000 per annum for this permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).
