As the Lead Pharmacist Aseptic Services, you will oversee the Aseptic Service section of our pharmacy and deliver specialized clinical pharmacy services to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy across the Trust.
Our chemotherapy production units, located at the Chichester and Worthing sites, dispense approximately 2,000 doses monthly. These busy units are managed by a skilled pharmacy team dedicated to delivering a safe, efficient, and effective service to Cancer Services and other departments within the Trust.
Our team includes pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and a senior manufacturing technician apprentice, collectively providing chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody, and immunotherapy services within Worthing and Chichester. We also have a dedicated Education and Training Team within Aseptic Services and offer a band 7-8a progression post for this role.
Main Duties of the Job
