Main Duties of the Job

The post-holder will collaborate with various multidisciplinary mental health neighborhood teams in Tower Hamlets, supporting service users through innovative care models focused on medicines optimization and safety. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting medicines consultations with service users
  • Providing detailed medicines information
  • Performing comprehensive medication reviews
  • Contributing to projects aimed at improving patient care and safety through psychotropic medications
  • Delivering education and training to primary care colleagues to enhance their knowledge and confidence in handling psychotropic medications

As this is a newly developed role, we are eager to hear your ideas and pilot them using quality improvement methodologies.
