Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Pharmacist specializing in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary ranging from £50,952.00 to £57,349.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing SACT
- Ensure the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Support and educate patients and their families about their treatment plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent)
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience in oncology and the provision of SACT
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
