Overview:

Join our dynamic team at the University of Hertfordshire’s College Lane Campus as a Technical Specialist. In this role, you will oversee our Simulated Community Pharmacy and Clinical Simulation Suite, supporting vital programs in Pharmacy, Physician’s Associate, and Dietetics.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Manage and ensure the smooth operation of our Simulated Community Pharmacy and Clinical Simulation Suite.

Collaborate closely with academic staff to meet teaching and examination requirements.

Maintain equipment inventory and prepare for external visits and courses.

Act as a surrogate patient for practical activities and assist in our second Clinical Simulation Suite.

Skills and experience required:

Ambitious individual with experience in medical simulation, preferably in higher education.

Familiarity with technical teaching environments and the skills required of Community and Hospital Pharmacists.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with professionals, academics, and students.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to changing requirements.

Qualifications required:

Minimum of a first degree/HND/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related sciences.
